About Elementsdowntown Restoration and How Referrals Work
Request an estimate
Who we are
Elementsdowntown Restoration is a referral service for homeowners with water damage. That is all we are. We are not a restoration company, and we do not own trucks, pumps, or dryers. We do not send anyone to your door.
Why this site exists
Water damage is stressful. Many people do not know who to call, what a fair price looks like, or what to write down. This site gives you plain information and a simple way to reach independent local providers.
We want you to feel ready before you talk to anyone. A calm, informed homeowner can ask better questions and spot a weak quote faster.
How requests are routed
You send a request with a few details. We look at your location and the type of problem. Then we pass the request to a provider in our network who may serve your area. You can also use Request a callback to check provider availability.
The provider contacts you directly. From that point, the quote, schedule, and work are between you and the provider.
Some providers can respond quickly, but timing differs from one business to the next. We cannot promise when anyone will arrive.
What we expect from providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Hold any license or registration their state or town requires
- Explain the scope of work in plain words
- Give written quotes
- Treat homeowners with respect and honesty
We cannot promise how any single job will go, so check each provider yourself. Ask about licensing, insurance, and how they plan to measure that your home is dry.
What we do not do
- We do not perform repairs, cleanup, or drying.
- We do not set provider prices.
- We do not decide insurance claims.
- We do not pressure you to hire anyone.
How we are paid
A provider may pay Elementsdowntown Restoration for a referral. You do not pay us to send a request. Your price comes from the provider you choose, so review it closely.
Costs vary a lot by job. Typical U.S. projects can range from a few hundred dollars for a small, contained leak to many thousands for large or long-standing damage. Only a written quote from a provider can tell you what your job may cost.
Keep good records
Document before cleanup. Take photos and short videos of the damage, the source if you can see it, and any damaged items. Write down dates and times. Providers can often help document damage for a claim, and some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your own policy for details.
Get connected
Compare written quotes from more than one provider when you can. Ask what is included and what could change the price. Then choose with a clear head.
Reach a local provider
Tell us what happened and request an estimate. A local provider in our network can follow up with next steps. There is no obligation to hire.
